“To Be, or Not To Be – Self-Perspective”

Self-Perspective jpgSelf-Perspective

To be, or not to be … either way, you’re right. You can be what you want to be, even if you’re not exactly what you want to be right now. It’s your self-perspective that determines to what degree you’ll become who you want to be.

Be:

First, you have to identify what you want to be and why it’s important for you to be that person. Next, you need to identify the burning reason/desire that’s driving you to be that person.

Believe:

From there, you must believe in your heart of hearts that you can be the person you seek to be. See the new you visually in your mind’s eye and focus upon that image constantly.

Behave:

After that, you should behave like the person you wish to be; that entails possessing the mental attitude of the new you in all physical and mental aspects. It’s should be akin to donning a new skin that you’re trying on to feel the fit of your future. When you start behaving the way you wish to be, over time, you’ll morph into that person.

Become:

The next thing you know, you’ll arrive at the destination of the new you that you’ve sought to become. Understand that it’s not really your destination, it’s only a rest stop along life’s path, a path that will see you morphing into many other perspectives of the ‘you’ that you’ll become in the future.

The above is a simplistic modification of the steps you can take to be the person that you strive to become. So, anytime you wish to alter your life, anytime you wish to become something/someone other than what/whom you are, put these steps in place. Before you know it, you’ll become that person. If you choose to, you can become visually striking or cast any persona you choose. You really can become the person you want to be. Once you decide to do so, you’ll experience a new you, a new life … and everything will be right with the world.

Remember, you’re always negotiating!
